monogram me!

A polyester blend thread is used for all of your embroidery and monogramming needs. This particular thread is unlike some others, in that it is resistant to chlorine bleach. This means that all towels, napkins, uniforms, etc can be bleached (if the material of the garment allows, please see the care instructions for your specific item before attempting to clean in any fashion) without sacrificing the quality or color of your stitching.

For all appliqued pieces, a double sided fusible interfacing is used between the garment being appliqued and the fabric used for the applique. This technique prevents any puckering or pulling after the garment has been washed.

For all towels and blankets with a thick nap, a water soluble interfacing is used during the monogramming. Once you receive your items with the completed embroidery, the interfacing will already be dissolved. This prevents intricate parts of your design being lost or sinking into the fabric. Please note, some items may feel stiff in the areas surrounding the borders of the monogram. This immediately disappears after one wash and is used to keep your monogram looking great after continued wear and washes!

  1. Hi Laura! Miss Southern Prep directed me to you when I asked about her monogrammed Tervis tumblers. I love the embroidered look, but haven't been able to find them anywhere. Can I order them from you? Thank you! ~Beth (bschetroma@gmail.com)
